- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price based on flower availability and shipping charges. Pricing is subject to change, but generally the weddings I book have floral budgets of $2,500 or more - my minimum is $2100 for full-scale weddings and $600 for elopements. If you book with my partner Zotti (photographer), you get a discount off of both of our services!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of what the person likes and their general thought. I ask questions getting to know them, their partner, and their story. Then I create a storyboard for them, with their ideas as well. I ask for a budget, then I will send a specialized quote with an range based on sizing. If a couple decides to book me, I require a 50% deposit to hold the date. After that, I take everything I’ve learned about you and continue to learn, and inject Floriography (the language of flowers) into it! Your story is played out visually for all to see!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Floral Design Institute graduate - a certified wedding floral specialist. I also learned most of what I know from working for another florist in the DC area - she is a visionary and I learned so much from her.
