Dan is the absolute best! He took my 100+ year old short-term rental investment house from zero to hero, on SO many levels. I had some big goals, and every single one of them was met or exceeded, below my planned budget. I started by buying expensive Anderson renewal windows, and they needed a bit of paint and trim touchups, so that was the first job. Then, drip systems. Then, a bit bigger job, and one thing led to another and here he was creating my absolute dream STR.
He renovated and reinforced the existing historical structure of the carriage house, then installed my new sauna and hot tub (he can even do installation, delivery, and building of saunas) and styled the inside of it with such grace and beauty, it took my breath away to look at the progress photos. He repainted every single wall and piece of trim, installed an entirely new bathroom (the tile job he did was MAGNIFICENT), and even put up wallpaper I loved, with wainscoting that I also loved...OMG, this project turned out SO beautiful. So so beautiful.
I have booked him for another project at my other Airbnb, where he can do his magic again, and I'm looking forward to posting the before-and-after photos of this one too.
I must also mention, after this renovation process, Dan also became my dedicated housekeeping crew. Though he is just one person, he does a better job than my previous cleaners, who brought three people, and they always missed things. Dan never misses a thing, and in fact, once even fixed my garbage disposal for me after a guest complained, without charging me anything but his time. Talk about a lifesaver! One day, he went to clean and discovered someone had broken my couch. This was an emergency when someone was coming to check in, so he offered his time and truck to help me pick up the new couch I had bought from City Home off the floor. If you need a go-to guy who can clean, fix things, and who is just all around great to talk to, call Dan!

I am just thrilled to find a handyman who doesn't ever tell you to wait six months to get on his schedule, and who will drop everything to go across town to fix anything wrong with a rental, THAT DAY! The value of having a handyman and cleaner who also manages his own rentals is hard to even put into words. He gets it, and understands how crucial every single five star review is. Not one complaint after about 100 of his cleanings...not one dog hair, not one missed thing. I am almost afraid to post this review, because he will get popular here in Bend and
