Introduction: The people are awesome!! People who come to learn Spanish and English from me are the brightest and best ... friends for life! I treasure the experience more and more! It is a maravellous experience getting to know everyone and to continue to learn about a variety of experiences they have in the 'mundo hispanohablante'!! It is easy to encourage learners of English too! There are many commonalities to speaking and expressing oneself in many languages! Great to be bi-lingual!! Absolutely, positively awesome!!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Has the instructor studied in their 'native' language in school? Many don't get the opportunity to do so, so their Spanish doesn't advance above the grade level they finished. Did they find it a 'struggle' to learn English? You want someone who has empathy in the struggle to learn another language and to not pass over the sutlities of learning Spanish. It should not be something that to them is 'easy' ... you want patience and the ability to give an explanation. If the person who as the instructor tells you it is easy ... beware! Learning English is difficult but possible! Learning Spanish is the same ... lots of speaking practice and listening practice to anyone who speaks ... the language!
