Introduction: As an Ordained Interfaith Minister and Certified Ritual Facilitator, I will work with you to custom create the wedding ceremony that perfectly fits you and your beloved. I went to school for this and have performed over 30 wedding and elopement ceremonies. We can plan a simple, short and sweet ceremony with just the basics, or we can co-create a longer ceremony with readings and unique rituals that have meaning to you. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, at ease, supported, seen, and 100% happy with my services. I will get to know you and will enjoy sharing some fun, special stories about your love. What your ceremony looks like is entirely up to you both and I will guide that process, offer you ideas and suggestions, and will write a meaningful, unique ceremony just for you. I work with spiritual but not religious, interfaith, non-faith, and faith based couples. Deshna is simply incredible! She was more than accommodating for our (not super religious) Handfast/knot tying wedding ceremony. We were so lucky to have her as our officiant, after waiting so long for our big day! My Husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the work of the lovely Deshna Shine! Rev. Deshna was incredible. She was able to meet our officiant needs with a very quick turnaround. Our original plans fell through, but it was for the best, because we got to meet Deshna and she performed such a lovely ceremony for Crystal and I.

Rev. Deshna had no problem doing the Princess Bride royal wedding dialogue for us and did such a beautiful job personalizing our service to us. We did a Star Wars themed wedding, yesterday (May the 4th be with you), and she completely went with the flow. Our guests told both of us over and over how fun the wedding was, and how they'd never been to a wedding like ours. Deshna was center stage in making that happen for us. More than that, she was mindful of our state of being throughout, telling us both at separate times to remember to breathe, giving us a moment to gather ourselves before beginning. We will never forget what she did for us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
WEDDINGS: $275-600 I have various options for weddings. A sweet and short ceremony is $275. (Currently discounted from $375 for Thumbtack customers 🥳) That includes 2 phone calls and up to a 15-20 minute long ceremony, personalized for you. 👰🏽🤵🏻‍♀️ For additional driving time outside of 30 minutes, I charge $1/minute. If location is farther than 3 hrs drive, I require lodging for 1-2 nights. A longer ceremony or larger guest list and wedding party starts at $350. Add ons include extra travel time, rehearsal, more wedding prep, special elements to add into the ceremony, help with planning, help with writing vows, and pre-wedding couples coaching. 🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏼‍♀️ Get in touch and lets find the perfect fit for you both!🤵‍♂️🤵🏿‍♂️ ✔️Prices go up in high season between May 15th through September. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
WEDDINGS: We will have an initial call to get to know what you are looking for- the type of ceremony, length, and any additional support and elements you’d like to include. Then I’ll ask you some questions about your love story so I can get to know you a bit better and I will write a unique ceremony just for you two. 2-3 weeks before your wedding we will have a second video call to go over your ceremony and make any changes or additions. Spiritual Care Sessions: In Spiritual Care Sessions you will be heard, seen, and honored. I will listen to your story and witness your joys and your grief. Using guiding questions, a variety of tools, and sacred listening, I will help you discover what you need in order to feel more grounded, more connected to your body, more aligned with your unique gifts that you have to offer the world, a sense of belonging, and a deeper connection to god, or spirit, or your own inner guide.
