- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can not give a pricing on this site due to discussing pricing, the federal government has said it is illegal for arborists or tree services to trade pricing since this could lead to collusion and or price fixing. Tree service care is at one end of the pricing and consulting arborist pricing is at a higher cost due to expertness required.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have to take 30 hours of Continuing Education (CEU's) every 2 years. Recently I took the US Forest Service course in Central Point, OR the 6th Western Hazard Tree Workshop June 2010 and in October 2010 the PNW ISA Tree Risk Assessment Course and Exam.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this line of work when a friend of mine who was in tree care, reminded me that we played in the trees as children and would I like to make money working with trees? I accepted his offer and have been working and learning about this profession ever since.
