I am very happy with the job that Ames Carpet Cleaning did. Steve is professional and very easy to work with. Thanks for the beautifully clean carpet!Apr 20, 2018Verified
Two carpet cleaners showed up a few minutes early and cleaned the carpet with great professionalism. The even offered booties if I needed to walk on the carpet! Nice guys and great job!Aug 16, 2017Verified
We were pleased with how quickly Ames Carpet responded with a bid to clean the carpets in my mother's house. We were working under a deadline and he was able to meet it. There was a huge stain in the living room and he was able to take care of it.Jul 17, 2017
For a reaonable price Steve Ames cleaned my carpet and made it look like new. And it didn"t take very long.Jul 19, 2017Verified
Steve was able to come early to accommodate my schedule. He was thorough, professional, and fast. Only thing that didn't come out of the carpet was a stain that looks like rust that other cleaners had tried unsuccessfully to remove in the past.May 1, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard prices for carpet cleaning are $40 per room or staircase and $15 per hall. Scotch guard or deoderizer costs $15 per room or staircase. Upholstery cleaning costs $15 per linear foot, (a standard 7 foot sofa is 105, a standard 5 foot loveseat $75), chairs range from $20-$90, example: dining room chairs (seat only) $20, large overstuffed chair $90. Scotch guard or deoderizer costs $40 per sofa, $30 per loveseat and $5-$20 per chair. I offer an additional 10% discount on all services for thumbtack customers. The minimum charge is $99.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My process for working with a new customer is to establish their needs and expectations, then determine the best (and most cost effective) way to accomplish their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I Have taken numerous classes throughout the years as well as training from several of the largest cleaning companies in the country. Nothing is better than hands on experience (in my opinion), I have cleaned every type of carpet fiber as well as every type of upholstery fabric countless times.
