Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Thank you for your interest in our handyman services. What makes our business great is that we come on time, we are professional, polite, fast, and we do excellent work. What makes us different from other providers on Thumbtack is that we are fully licensed in Oregon with the Construction Contractor’s Board (CCB). Our license number is 216957. The CCB requires a license for most work done on a home, including relatively minor work such as wall mounting. We are also bonded and insured. We are a local company in Hillsboro, Oregon, offering handyman services. We offer flat rate pricing or hourly, depending on the job. All of our employees are background checked. What excites me about this business is that we have an opportunity to excel at customer service, and WOW the customer, when other contractors and handymen are terrible at customer service. Our rate is $55/hr + $35 travel fee, with a 2-hour minimum (total of $145 service call minimum). Please visit our website for more detailed pricing, more information about us, and more photos of our work.

Handyman

Richard was GREAT! He was hanging a few items in my living room. One of the projects was hanging floating shelves. It was a tedious job but he did a great job!! He was also very friendly and answered every question I had. I would definitely utilize him again if I have any other projects to get done.

Door Installation

Gavin did a great job. He reinstalled 6 interior doors for me, put the trim back on and recaulked. I had tried to install the doors myself using these little brackets instead of shims. Anyway the brackets held for a while then they shifted causing the doors not to work properly. Gavin really did a nice job and vacuumed up after he was done which I really appreciated.

Handyman

We had recently purchased a home and needed storage racks hung in the garage and several closet organizers installed. The owner was very responsive and communicative. The gentleman who did the work let us know when he was done n the way and did a great job. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that we had to go behind and vacuum wherever he had drilled holes.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is either fixed-price, or hourly. We also may have a travel fee, depending on the location of the job.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our typical process is to first gather the job requirements, ask questions, listen to the customer, and understand if it is a good fit for both parties. If it is a good fit, we will either provide a fixed price quote or an hourly rate. And, then we will work with the customer to get the job scheduled. We use Calendly with Google Calendar to make the job scheduling process super easy and convenient--the customer can see our job calendar availability online and instantly book a time slot that works for them. Or, we are always happy to take a phone call and schedule jobs that way.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We did 16 hours of training to be licensed with the CCB, and there is a 3 hour exam. There is also continuing education that is required every 2 years to maintain our license. We are license # 216957.
