Great independent contractor to get the small stuff done. Searched out re-use items as options and communicated status progress. Be sure to discuss hauling away debris prior to starting though.
Chris, did several jobs around my house both inside and out. I had excellent communication with Chris and he did a great job! I would most defiantly hire him again, in fact in a few months he is going to build me a wall to wall floor to ceiling bookcase. Will keep you posted. Hire him, he is good and fair! Thank you Chris, Linda S.S.
Henry was very professional and followed through on every detail. The driveway looks fantastic and it wasn't an easy one to do. A steep grade and some custom considerations with my neighbor's stone wall. I would recommend 4Sons to friends and family. They were great.
We have been extremely happy with all of Creekscape's work. We saw them working in our daughter's neighborhood and asked for quotes and ideas. Juan used only our basic concepts or desired results and told us what he could do, how he would do it and the final costs. We are now signed up for our third major landscape project on two different properties. The results have exceeded our expectations. When we had concerns about costs, Juan made recommendations that accomplished more than we were looking for at a better price. Our work has included significant demolition of old railroad tie walls, decking, drainage piping, removal of bad slopes that caused flooding. Then, new pavers, significant wall construction, stairways, boulder placement, leveling and large sod work. Again, now were having Juan and his crew back for additional work, expanding areas. They were all extremely careful of adjoining work and features that we wanted to retain, careful of existing underground drainage and supply piping. They included the haul away of debris, clean up all complete turn key projects, within our agreed to budget and schedule. Juan's management of our complex projects included coordination with paver suppliers, boulder suppliers, clean fill dirt, sod and large earth moving equipment delivery and pickup. Everything seemed to show up just at the right time for the next phase of work. We highly recommend Juan Gutierrez's Creekscape Design for any landscape, patio, decking projects. We've engaged them 3 times now and would do again in the future.
Julian did an excellent job building a fence and ripping out a lot of big bushes. His work crew was great. I was impressed with his response time and how quickly the job was completely. I will be hiring him again.
We have been waiting for 3 weeks to get pad pouredfrom other contractors I contacted Makaia and he responded and poured my pad in the same week. He was a very professional guy. He showed up when he said he was going to and done a excellent job on our concrete patio that we had poured. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend him and if I need more work done in the future I will go with his team. Happy customer in Ridgfield!!!!
Spencer poured a new aggregate concrete driveway on the side of our house and a new, connected stamped concrete patio in the back. Very efficient and professional. Laid back, relaxed, hard working style. Will call them again!
Joe came by a couple times to scout the property with us & discuss plans. We had some materials already purchased & he made the other runs to the hardware for us, we just ordered ahead. He was very polite and communicative to begin. We only needed some brick added & posts placed, but he was able to get it mostly done pretty quickly. He had some family emergencies come up and the weather wasn't great for over a month, so he ultimately didn't finish until a month after he said he would. He did a little extra, like smoothing out the fill dirt, tearing out an unnecessary block in the driveway, and removing a plank in the garden. Overall we really liked their price & attitude. The brick they laid looked better than if we'd tried it ourselves, for sure. If I hired him again we would need to be more definite with a timeline, and he accidentally took our shovel but hasn't brought it back.
Absolutely outstanding. Shawn Ladd sets the standard for contracting. Extraordinarily pleasant to work with. Top quality crew, outstanding communication, and job management. Extremely competitive pricing, was low or near low bid, but was way more qualified. Worked together perfectly with the interior designer and other contractors on the site. Ladd Masonry refaced a living room fireplace with real dry-stacked stone and added a hearth and mantle. Completely transformed the mid-century modern home, added ten times the price to the value of the home. Installer was an artist basically, extremely tedious detailed stone by stone work. It was all completed expeditiously and beautifully. If you have a quality project, and want and can afford quality workmanship this is it. You need to plan ahead and hire Shawn right away - because this top quality contractors's schedule will fill up very fast.
We hired Chimcare to repair mortar joints on our chimney and front brick wall, install a chimney cap and flue, and sweep. The estimate was detailed but failed to identify that major work was needed to cut out and re-point a significant portion of the chimney and front wall. Therefore, after the crew started, the cost added to the project was nearly double of what we lead to believe. That being said, the work performed by Conrad was top notch. He took the time to listen and explain the process and areas that weren't identified by the estimate that also needed attention. Top notch work but the estimate should have been prepared much better. Overall a satisfied customer and would use again.
Did a great job with pavers and concrete driveway. Would hire them again, for sure.
Rebuilt a block wall. Excellent job.
He did a great job on our chimney and front brick facade. Very professional, would hire him again.
G & G Yard Care are the best! I had to have a small barrier wall installed on my front yard (neighbor with a giant truck and no sense of direction was constantly rolling into my yard, tearing it up all winter). After a minor snarl, initially (supplier loaded the wrong materials), work went on apace. I set up a meet on Sunday, they came and gave me a MOST reasonable estimate--the yard was completely overgrown, so they tamed that, in addition to the wall construction. The wall was finished in three days' time, and looks GREAT, not to mention it's reduced my stress-level by an amazing amount, not having to worry about tail lights in my front yard. I've contracted them to maintain the yard (I'm disabled and it's hard for me to keep up, on my own), now that the wall's done. Over time, I'd like to extend that wall to encompass the entire front yard, and they'll be the ones to do that, as well. I'm very happy with the work--they work HARD, too--no sitting around on "breaks" every half an hour, as I've seen *other* yard workers do, no overcharges on material, and they were MOST accommodating when it came to scheduling; I have "Non-24", so I don't have a regular sleep pattern, and I generally wind up sleeping mornings. Most contractors want to start at the crack of dawn, but G & G actually LISTENED to MY needs in the matter, and agreed to come out afternoons to do the work. The ENTIRE job was done in four days, from appraisal to clean-up, and THEY totally cleaned up everything when they were finished. All in all, a very positive experience that I'd happily recommend to anyone in need of RELIABLE, consistent yard care and landscaping. G & G Rocks! ;o]
S and Z Custom Concrete company just finished a project at my son's home. It was a long process to finish a wall that previous contractor did not finished. So S and Z company took over the job and did a wonderful job at finishing all.
Warren got back to me quickly. I received his bid for a roofing job by the next day and he scheduled the job to be completed in a very timely manner. He repaired the roof and found an issue which another contractor missed, and was able to fix all of the issues for the leaking roof. He is a great contractor!
Whats for dinner? That age old question, routinely pops into my head within the first 20 minutes of staring a new day. Typically somewhere between wash, rinse and repeat. (Personal confession: I dont repeat.) After 13 years with the TLB (the Tall Leggy Blonde for those new to my Gonzo musings) weve settled into some set roles and responsibilities. Highlights of mine include mowing the lawn, sleeping in the wet spot and preparing the majority of our meals. I dont mind (the meals) as I enjoy the idea of cooking. What I didnt enjoy was being segregated into a small box like 1970s suck ass kitchen, with old appliances, no ambiance and an presumed history of many casserole / hamburger helper styled meal. Suffocating. Boring. Small. That was my kitchen; not to be confused as a reference to my past sexual experiences. Sure, there had always been grand plans. Tear down these walls, Mr. Boyardee! It was often just wishful thinking; ideas that pop into ones head while preparing the nights meal in the solitary confinement of our drab kitchen. That has changed. The walls are down. What was once ugly, cramped and dated, has been transformed into something amazing. We owe Paul and Cathedral Construction a huge debt of gratitude for helping us achieve our perfect kitchen. We truly couldnt be happier with the final result. Paul was able to take our wants and make them a reality. From the custom cabinets, the subway tile, gas range and open concept, it was better than we could possibly image. I even have my own cherry wood bar (which I still require coasters for)! Since the remodel, the quality and frequency of great meals has significantly increased. If you are looking for an honest, highly skilled contractor, contact Paul at Cathedral Construction.
I had a dream of creating a built-in bookcase on a wall where a fireplace had once been and wrapping it around a kitchen doorway. Enoch was on time for the estimate (and the estimate was very quick too) and he was the only contractor who seemed to really listen to what I was asking. He understood my vision and helped me to realize it. Enoch returned telephone calls and was very patient with the process. Once the project started, it only took him a few days to complete it. He and his team are dedicated and trustworthy. And now I have the most beautiful built-in bookcase that looks like it is a part of the house. The price was high, but you get what you pay for and it has been worth every penny. Totally recommending High Crest.
Dan did a great job working with us to lay a large concrete patio and retaining wall. He was helpful about working within our budget and responsed rapidly to all calls and texts related to questions or changes we wanted throughout the project. We have never worked with contractors before and had a lot of anxiety about all the things that could go wrong. Dan was very helpful about answering all of them. Dan has a very good eye for design which made him stand out from the rest. He was easy to work with and helped us be on the way to creating our dream backyard. His crew was respectful and responsible.
