All my students learn what they want to. I've never had a complaint from a student. I teach the subjects in easy steps with depth, applications, and job types and salaries. I always check for understanding and re-format my approach to the student's experiences, if needed.
I can do tutoring on all academic levels, in many subjects. I have been a university lecturer, covering all business subjects, but are competent in many others. My tutoring has been mainly in reading and writing English, to American and foreign students (TOEFL) and test preparation.
I have over 20 years of teaching experience, and I specialize in working with beginning readers, who are having difficulty learning how to read. I provide one-on-one systematic instruction, based on individual student's strengths and needs. My goal is to change reluctant, discouraged or struggling readers into confident and independent literacy learners.
I love helping people create a finished product that makes them feel proud. I love meeting the client, either in person or on the phone, and learning about what they are up to.
