Introduction: My services include, space planning, color, color to highlight art, reuse/repurpose, kitchen/bath design, whole house design, sources, and helping my clients articulate visually their values and style. When I leave, more of my client will be seen. My promise to you is Elegant, Timeless, and Harmonious plus having fun during the process! I love my work and have been designing since I was a child. My job is to listen and help my clients have the environment that both serves and reflects them. Design and repurpose/reuse has been one of my design features for decades. Looking at the world in new ways is interesting and solves many challenges. One of the joys I have is revisiting a job years later and seeing that it lasts the test of time. Jobs that I completed twenty years ago still look current. Actually the smiles on my clients' faces make my heart sing!

Tina has given my home a "face lift" --- in the living & family rooms, guest bedroom, and kitchen,. I wanted to keep my existing furniture of 15 years (because I still love it!) though another decorator kept insisting I needed to reupholster everything, saying, "Your fabrics are dated, it's not today's trend." Tina actually listened to me and understood that I wanted ME to be reflected in my home, not a decorator's idea of what it should look like as a magazine cover. Tina's communication style is very direct (be prepared!) and her work is very hands-on (helped move furniture and hang pictures). I wanted to change out some wall colors and I had 100% trust in her recommendations. I've only met 2 designers in my life with such a gift of color and Tina is one of them! She has a 6th sense with color, texture, style, and space design. She asks good questions that prod clients to think “out of the box” helping them turn their house into an inviting livable home. When guests enter my home they repeatedly comment on its charm, warmth and welcoming atmosphere; these are very important qualities to me. Each room that Tina touches reflects who I AM and that's a unique gift she provided. And she’s fun!

I hired Tina Enomoto to redesign three bedrooms in my house to prepare a space for guests in the retreat house in my home that I was opening. She was a joy to work with even though I was in the middle of grieving the death of my husband. So as we traveled each day to different stores/design places, I'd get in the car and say, "I don't know how I'll be today," maybe crying, maybe not. And she'd be fine with wherever I was. It was a joy and exciting and a place where my life was trending towards a future, just as I was letting go of the past. Tina is professional, but accessible, dynamic with ideas, and working within your budget/comfort zone. The results were so beautiful. One bedroom was a bed-sitting room with a murphy bed system on one wall, but could be used as a small sitting room, too. The other two were bedrooms for guests, warm and welcoming. If we didn't live on opposite coasts right now, I'd hire her today.

After waiting 10 years for redecorating inspiration to hit me, I let Enomoto Design be my inspiration. Tina Enomoto was easy to work with during the makeover of our living room, family room and kitchen. Asking us what we valued, what brought us joy, what we wanted to keep and discard helped us define our goals and gave Tina the starting point to the project. She knew how to ask us questions that drew us out and examine our home of 35 years. In both the large rooms we wanted to feature the colors in the natural stone fireplaces and Tina's creative use of color in wall paint and furnishings gave the "pop" that make visitors go "wow, I didn't realize how beautiful that fireplace was". The new arrangement of furnishings, blending old with new, created defined spaces for grandchildren at play, a quiet peaceful conversation area, a TV watching area, and a large space for family gatherings. She suggested repurposing furniture for the children's area that has made storage of toys easy for the children to take out and put away by themselves. Tina more than fulfilled her promise to us to give us a living space we can enjoy every day.

I had moved into a 1960 ranch house with cherry furniture, Tibetan thangkas, and numerous framed photographs and paintings. It was a small house with outdated wallpaper, décor, and paint. Enomoto Designs saved me. Tina had the ability to envision what the house could look like to accommodate my eclectic pieces and pop. She helped with everything from the amazing selection of paint color to having some Tibetan artists create the perfect area rugs for three rooms. Then she took charge of the full bath remodel that carved space out of a very small room, created a peaceful glazed green tile oasis, and hired professional plumbers and tilers; she completed everything on time and on budget. Tina helped in every room I needed, including removing wallpaper from the kitchen and replacing it with spectacular tile that fit the retro look of the 60’s and added just the right color of paint to modernize the room. In short, she turned my bland ranch into a house that suited my taste, furniture, artwork, and life. She made a very difficult time so much easier and the quality of the work the professionals she hired did, made the house livable for years.

Tina Enomoto came highly recommended by one of our local Architects. My husband and I were adding on to our kitchen and off the addition to the kitchen we were building a 400 sq ft. Victoria style sunroom. I had Tina come in at the very beginning, she listened to what our goals and plans were for these 2 add-on rooms. Then proceeded to guide and help us with space planning and some design, plus gently corrected us through some do's and don'ts. She made some major changes to our fireplace and where to place it which was a huge help and totally made our room. She helped in the design of what kinds of stone to use, also Tina helped me with our flooring. She gave me information on a couple of reclaim hardwood companies, one of the Co. was local so I used them to buy and install our reclaim hardwood floors, couldn't be more pleased with the flooring. Tina went shopping with me for materials, she was wonderful and patient to work with, most of all she listen to what our thoughts were than would go from there to make sure we received the finished rooms like we wanted them. I know for a fact we would have made a couple of big mistakes without her help and guidance through our project. Both my husband and I highly recommend Enomoto Designs. Thank you Tina, for your professional but very personable ideas and help to our project. We love the outcome of our addition. Richard and Carla Yeo
