Ron and his crew literally put a roof over our heads. We thought that we were in for a hefty bill when we found out that under the decades old composite shingles on our fixer-upper was old rotting wood shingles and skip sheathing. Ron said, “no problem!” He walked us through a plan for replacing the whole roof and gave us a clear precise estimate considerably lower than the competitors. He carefully took off the entire old roof and was very mindful of removing every last old shingle and rusty nail from our yard. He installed all new plywood sheathing, modern ventilation and helped us pick out the best value of beautiful composite shingles without trying to sell us something that we didn’t need. Throughout the job he worked around our schedule, answered innumerable questions from me, and worked with our limited budget to make other improvements that came up as the roof was being replaced – including insulating our attic bedroom, the last minute addition of a new roof window, and fixing our sagging gutters.
