About
Hello, I'm a cellist and pianist located in Portland, OR. I offer cello and piano lessons in my studio. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance from The University of Taipei in Taiwan and my Master and DMA degrees from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). I’ve had such a great experience learning cello with my teacher. She is not only very nice and funny, but she also makes each class interesting and enjoyable, so it never feels boring. She has a real talent for explaining techniques in a clear way that makes sense, even when the music gets challenging. Her lessons are always encouraging, and she knows how to balance patience with pushing me to improve. I can tell how skilled and experienced she is, and that gives me a lot of confidence in my learning. I always leave class feeling motivated and excited to practice more. I’m so glad I found her—highly recommend to anyone looking for a cello teacher who is professional, fun, and truly cares about her students.

Beginner cellist here. I previously took 3 months of lessons online (with someone else) and that was a huge mistake because I was doing almost everything wrong. Li did a great job re-training me on everything from posture to how to use the bow correctly and answered every question I had.
