If you need someone to come to your home for tech support, save yourself time, money, and frustration and call TC.
I recently ran into one of those frustrating tech problems where my hardware and software simply refused to cooperate. I knew I needed an experienced technician to come onsite, but I didn't have any referrals. After taking a chance on Thumbtack, I found TC. He had excellent reviews, impressive experience, and reasonable rates.
He arrived on time and quickly understood my setup, diagnosed the issue, and implemented a solution. Even better, he didn't try to upsell me or convince me to purchase anything I didn't actually need—a quality that's becoming increasingly rare these days.
On top of that, he's just a genuinely nice person. He's friendly, professional, communicative, and clearly enjoys solving complex technical challenges. If you value competence, honesty, and outstanding customer service, I can't recommend him highly enough.

$50/hr, flat $35 travel within reasonable distance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
"Show me where it hurts, lets re-create the problem." And once I've got the big picture I'll happily tell you what is needed, regardless of whether it profits me or not. Doing it the right way includes giving the same advice I would to a family member.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have "A Plus" certification, but everything I know is hands on, solving problems as I go. And I've been doing this for a long time.
