I had the pleasure of working with David on a project that included several custom elements throughout the home: a built-in bench with cubbies, a bar, laundry room cabinetry, floating shelves, and a custom wall screen.David was incredibly knowledgeable, collaborative, and a great problem solver throughout the entire project. As a designer, I really appreciated that he took the time to understand my design intent and would always offer thoughtful input on how we could best achieve the look and aesthetic I envisioned for my clients.He brings both craftsmanship and practical knowledge to the process, and hes always willing to work through the details to find the right solution without compromising the design. He was a great partner to collaborate with, and I would absolutely recommend him for custom woodworking and cabinetry projects.

David is the best! We worked with David to redo our fireplace, and we couldnt be happier with the results! He completely transformed the space with beautiful shiplap and a custom wooden mantel with a hidden pull-out drawer (its so cool & functional & we absolutely love it!!). He also installed a sliding door on a built-in cubby, which made a big difference in both the look and functionality of the space.David was responsive, communicative, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He even coordinated with an electrician and painter, and both were fantastic. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional, and its clear that David takes a lot of pride in his work.The entire experience was seamless from start to finish, and the finished project exceeded our expectations. David is not only extremely skilled, but also kind, professional, and easy to work with. We absolutely love our new fireplace and would recommend Rip City Craftsman to anyone looking for high-quality, thoughtful work. We wouldnt hesitate to work with David again!
