Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am obsessed with quality. I call it a resolution, and I want to give my clients a product in a higher resolution than they can even see. When your eye can see a deviation of a few thousands of an inch, you can't live with being a millimeter off. As Benjamin Franklin said: "If a millimeter trips you up, stop draggin' your feet, dragon foot!"* * Historical Footnote: There is no evidence whatsoever that anyone, anywhere, ever, actually said, wrote or thought the aforementioned quote -- present instance excluded, of course. I enjoy being an alchemist. I turn things into gold because real gold is just shiny dirt.

Jonathan designed a made custom lights that go inside a shipping container that we are turning into a classroom. He did a wonderful job with making it look unique, fit in with its surrounding and fit within our size restrictions.

Used wrong plywood for vinyl floor. Bought the vinyl didn't match other room's color. Terrible work on sheetrock, I have to spend more money to fix the problem. Totally not trustworthy!

The suspected Spammer. I successfully removed and replaced three posts and beams, as well as the subfloor. Being new to the area, I offered free installation on the finish vinyl floor. Walter only had to pay for materials. I made 3 attempts to install, I even hired a helper, paid out of pocket. In all 3 attempts, Walter had double booked other tradesmen, preventing me from installing a floor which cannot be walked on for at least 24 hours after install. After 3rd attempt, I left Walter's materials on site, and left him to figure out install on his own. I was never paid for vinyl install, so he only got what he paid for. I lost money trying to complete his work, but in the end called it a wash.

Jonathan was hired to rebuild a floating dock. After giving a quote of 2500.00 along with a 3D rendered design we agreed to hire him. He was given a 1250.00 down payment and took possession of the existing pontoon logs valued at 1200.00. Within two days of receiving payment and taking our property he cut off communication and disappeared with money and property. Never delivered the float.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My grandfather was my hero. He could build or fix anything. Even at 4 years old, I was out in his workshop with him. He made me an appropriately sized workbench (an overturned milk crate with a plywood bottom), and gave my some scrap wood and a hand saw. I would indiscriminately cut scrap wood and hammer nails into it, while he built hobby projects and wrenched on machines. After he passed, I inherited some of his tools, and would spend my childhood free time trying to become the great man he was.
