FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a prospective client gets in touch with me, I first make sure they live in my service area (inner southeast and northeast). Then we schedule a Meet and Greet. It is a 30 minute try for me to come to their home and meet their pets. The client can also show me where the pet supplies, etc. are. I always bring a welcome envelope that includes a magnet, business card, Pet Information Sheet, brochure, references, and any other pertinent documents. After this visit, the prospective client can decide to hire me and begin scheduling pet services with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a family that included dogs and cats. I started helping to care for these pets when I was five years old. I have worked professionally with cats and dogs of all ages beginning in 1997. I can give insulin injections and subcutaneous IV fluids.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with cats and dogs in my family. I have always been a pet lover. After graduating from college, I realized that I missed working with pets. So I made the choice to not work in an office and to become the best pet sitter-EVER!
