- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will be charging hourly for most of our small projects on Thumbtack. Our starting rate is $162.12 per man-hour from point of dispatch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upfront information gathering is very important to us so that we can be mentally prepared and bring out the correct supplies/parts to the job. IT IS IMPORTANT TO UPLOAD PHOTOS Uploading the correct photos will allow us to serve you more quickly and greatly increase the accuracy of any estimated cost provided. CONTEXT PHOTOS No matter what type of product or opening we are being asked to work on, we ask that pictures be taken from both inside and outside. Please stand far enough away to capture the entire product and surrounding wall materials. CLOSE-UP PHOTOS Whatever part of a product is malfunctioning, broken, damaged, etc., please take close ups of the issues with your product open and closed (If applicable). INFORMATION Providing rough measurements: if we are replacing glass, a window sash, door panel, window etc. are extremely helpful. Even if we are not replacing any product, it is VERY HELPFUL to have dimensions of the product that we are working on Once we have this information, your project can be assigned to an estimator in our quote queue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been working on doors for over 36 years. Cumulatively amongst the field crew, we have well over 100 years' experience working on doors & windows.
