We thought we needed a new front door, ours was misaligned and stuck terribly when opening and closing. Our window and door representative suggested we contact Anderson Door and Window Mechanics to see if they could repair our door. Their initial contact was very professional and efficient. We provided all of the requested photos/information and they were out within a few weeks. Bob did a great job on our door, realigned it, and made some other adjustments, voila, no more sticking door! We were very pleased with the service and the communication from start to finish. Highly recommend this company!

Amazing work by this team! They were able to fix a very old, original sliding door from the 1970s with incredible amounts of kindness, understanding, humor, and industry expertise - saving us thousands in the process. Will call on them again in a heartbeat! Don't miss a chance to work with this team, especially the on-site crew. Great problem solvers and great people.

What a great team of people to work with! Courteous, thoughtful, caring, organized, prompt, clean, professional, with excellent quality replacment glass used in my sliding door. I cant wait to have them back in the future for my foggy front window panes.

This company serviced a couple of old doors in my 1960 home that were out of balance, not closing correctly, scraping, sticking, etc. They also replaced hardware on French doors and fixed the threshold trip hazard. They are extremely detail-oriented and show that they care deeply about doing a good job. I will definitely call them again.

We had an exceptional experience with this company,. We contacted several companies and Anderson Door and Window was the only door replacement service that would actually replace the glass system and retain our original back door. Jorge and Brennan showed up on time and prepared. It was obvious they knew each other well - 5 years as a crew - and knew how to get the job done - professional, clean, courteous. I can highly recommend for both doors and windows (next job).

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will be charging hourly for most of our small projects on Thumbtack. Our starting rate is $162.12 per man-hour from point of dispatch.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upfront information gathering is very important to us so that we can be mentally prepared and bring out the correct supplies/parts to the job.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO UPLOAD PHOTOS
Uploading the correct photos will allow us to serve you more quickly and greatly increase the accuracy of any estimated cost provided.
CONTEXT PHOTOS
No matter what type of product or opening we are being asked to work on, we ask that pictures be taken from both inside and outside. Please stand far enough away to capture the entire product and surrounding wall materials.
CLOSE-UP PHOTOS
Whatever part of a product is malfunctioning, broken, damaged, etc., please take close ups of the issues with your product open and closed (If applicable).
INFORMATION
Providing rough measurements: if we are replacing glass, a window sash, door panel, window etc. are extremely helpful. Even if we are not replacing any product, it is VERY HELPFUL to have dimensions of the product that we are working on
Once we have this information, your project can be assigned to an estimator in our quote queue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been working on doors for over 36 years. Cumulatively amongst the field crew, we have well over 100 years' experience working on doors & windows.
