FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
t Coopers Fencing & Construction, pricing is straight-up and transparent — no fluff, no surprise fees. We give detailed, fair bids that reflect quality craftsmanship, durable materials, and years of hands-on experience. You’re not just paying for labor — you're investing in fences that last and service that’s actually reliable. Discounts? We hook up military, first responders, and neighbors who combine jobs. Fees? We keep it simple. Tearing down old fences, staining, or custom gates may have added costs — but they’ll be clearly listed on the estimate, no last-minute “gotcha” charges. Bottom line: We work with real budgets and real people — if we can make it pencil out for both sides, we will.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I keep it simple and personal — no middlemen, no confusion. As the owner of Coopers Fencing & Construction, I talk directly with every new customer. Within 24–48 hours of first contact, I’ll meet you in person to walk the property, hear exactly what you want, and give honest input. During the walkthrough, I’ll measure every inch of the space, sketch it out on the spot, and ask the right questions to make sure we’re on the same page. Within 24 hours of that visit, I’ll send over a detailed bid. From there, it’s a yes or no — no pressure either way. If it’s a go, we agree on a schedule that works for both of us. Once the deposit is paid, the job gets booked. We show up, do clean solid work, and collect final payment once you’re satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been hands-on in the trades for over a decade — learning the right way from seasoned builders and running crews before launching Coopers Fencing & Construction. I’ve taken the required contractor education, passed the Oregon CCB licensing exam, and stay up to date on state codes and jobsite safety standards. But truth be told — most of my real education came from being in the field, day in and day out. I’ve built fences in the rain, sun, mud, and on uneven terrain that’d make most guys turn around. That’s where I learned the details that separate a fast fence from a lasting one.
