Introduction: I empower individuals, couples, families, and groups to make the desired changes in their lives which will allow them to reach their full potential as human beings. My certification as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (Certificate No. 1501200469) is one of the most well-recognized and respected certifications in the fitness industry. For the last 30 years I have designed multifaceted programs to enhance and optimize health. Certainly exercise is a major component, but not the only one. To that end, I maintain a depth of knowledge regarding nutritional programs to enhance the results achieved through physical exercise. The final component of my unique approach is a practical expertise in addressing emotional issues of clients. A master's degree in marital and family therapy gives me the tools to address those things that keep clients from becoming the greatest manifestation of who they really are: fear, self doubt, or unwillingness to leave their comfort zone. The most expertly designed fitness and nutritional programs are worthless for clients whose emotional issues keep them from achieving their goals. Your success is my ultimate goal, reached through coaching in exercise, nutrition and emotional well-being. Following a thorough assessment, we will design an individualized personal training program that will address your unique needs and goals. The atmosphere is a relaxed, no stress, well-equipped private studio. Some of the training areas that will be addressed are: flexibility, resistance, cardiorespiratory, core strength, balance, plyometric, and speed, agility, and quickness.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Scott! From day one he's exhibited professionalism, tremendous energy, and the ability to custom tailor workouts to achieve my noteably aggressive goals. I came to Scott already in good shape having spent a great deal of time in the gym. I was looking to mix things up, and learn new ways to push myself. You can tell how much Scott enjoys what he does. It comes through every day in the gym. He was always eager and excited to throw new challenges my way. His knowledge of health and fitness shined each time he broke down a new exercise for me, walking through the form, the muscles impacted, and the desired result. As someone with a passion for fitness and already solid baseline of knowledge, I was blown away with how much I was able to take away from each session. I have been training with Scott for 6 months now. It has been fantastic. Scott worked with me to understand my goals and creates varying programs to meet those goals while keeping me interested and invested. He's always asking me my opinion of the various workouts and tweaks things to be the best workout for me. In addition to the personal training Scott has helped me improve my diet and understand it's importance in achieving my goals. I couldn't be happier.

I was referred to Scott after I was done with Physical Therapy for a rotator cuff tear. Scott has been very knowledgeable and motivating. I have seen solid results after a couple months. He pushes me to work way harder than I would on my own. His exercises are hard but fun. I can’t wait to go back tonight for more.

I started working with Scott nearly one year ago. I wanted to work on my core strength because I was scheduled to do a 15 mile Power Walk in London and I wanted to avoid backaches and shin splints. I found my training leading up to the walk to be very helpful. When I returned from London, I decided to continue training with Scott because it had already made a big difference in my physical and overall health and well-being. Scott is great to work with and keeps things fun but challenging. I'm not a spring chicken and this program continues to serve me well. We decide together on skills and areas of focus. It seemed indulgent to have a personal trainer, but it is worth every bit of investment in myself. I now view it as an essential service to maintaining my health for the long run.
