Introduction: My work is a reflection of my passion for channeling creative energy into pieces that are complimentary to the vision of my clients; I make an extra effort to be aware of all components of an event to ensure that my designs are thoughtfully constructed to highlight the naturally beauty of both the surroundings and guests. Kiffen did all the bouquets and boutonnieres for my beach wedding in June 2013. I had this image in my head for a beach wedding and my ideal colors but I was clueless as to how to make my ideas a reality. When I started talking to Kiffen about my ideal flowers I was able to tell her the colors I was interested in and she went above and beyond to create beautiful arrangements. She not only included the colors I wanted but she offered to accompany me to the flower market and she talked to me about the flowers, what would last throughout the day, what would be too heavy etc. The day of the wedding, she brought the bouquets and boutonnieres to my house so my bridesmaids and I could swoon over them while we were getting ready. They were full, gorgeous, and perfectly shaped! The flowers lasted throughout the day, they weren't too heavy, and they maintained their shape. I LOVED everything about the bouquets and boutonnieres and I would recommend her to all of my friends and family!

Kiffen at Beam Florals was absolutely amazing to work with. She did the flowers for my wedding (about 200 people) and they looked beyond stunning. She listened to what I wanted and had wonderful creative ideas of her own - completely brought my vision to life - and also made me a gorgeous flower crown. On top of that, she was so sweet and fun to work with, and very grounded, professional, and on top of it - helping to make a potentially stressful day that much smoother. I highly recommend her!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began working at a retail flower shop in my hometown of Encinitas, CA as a high school senior. Throughout college, I continued this work and over time, my skills and responsibilities increased. I moved into wedding design after my own wedding, and nothing makes me smile more than seeing a happy Bride and Groom!
