To keep myself up-to-date with the latest developments, I participate in in-service trainings and communicate with my colleagues on a regular basis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved learning new languages and, being good at it and since I love discovering other cultures, I decided to start teaching them.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Having a teacher who has studied how to teach the language is just about as important as finding a teacher who is a native speaker. A native speaker who has never learned how to teach their language will have a harder time explaining concepts that they learned in an immersed environment, without reflecting on it.
