I had an odd job where I wanted a pull-up bar that I could also mount a hang board too. Paul did a great job working with me finding the right wood and then ensuring the install would look good as well as serve its structural function. Would recommend to anyone looking for a general contractor!
Details: Sketches or a basic idea • Bedroom • New custom construction • Yes, load-bearing structures are involved • Less than 500 sq ft • Home

I had a great experience with NW Contracting & Finishing. I wanted a doorway widened and there were a couple challenging elements about the project. The work came out great, and i'm very happy with the end result. Would definitely hire again.

Craftsman quality work for a job that usually never gets quality. Just needed some simple painting done on the inside and outside and found that he took it up on himself to do more than I asked for because this is what a real Craftsman does! I am almost embarrassed to have him do such a simple job when it's clear his quality, professionalism and experience is much higher than the job. His communication was clear and excellent, he was pleasant, and I will use him again.
Details: Home • Two stories • One part of building • 1,000 - 1,500 sq ft • Wood • Yes, I will supply the paint to the professional • No visible exterior damage

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fixed price bidding. Contract based so that your final invoice doesn't ramp up without your prior approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. We’ll typically start with talking about the project details, meeting at the jobsite, then putting together a bid package and timeline. After the bid package is accepted, we require a down payment following a payment schedule. If there are any changes along the way, we’ll adjust time and cost as needed through a written change order. Final payment (typically 1%) is due at the final day of the project. Punch list work is done after the project is complete and we offer a one year warranty on all workmanship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’re licensed with the Oregon CCB and Washington L&I and are up to date with training as well as building codes, laws, and regulations.
We're also trained to abate lead and to work in residential homes built pre-1978.
Licensed, bonded and insured in OR and WA.
