Evan is an excellent guitar teacher! Lessons are always fun with a perfect balance between music theory and practice. He is extremely informative and helpful when it comes to tricks and techniques to work on to improve my skills. He is really flexible and can come to my house for lessons when I can't make it out to his. I'm exited to continue working with Evan and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to play the guitar!Mar 21, 2014Verified
Evan is a delightful guitar teacher. He is very patient and encouraging. He is also lighthearted and has a great sense of humor, which adds a lot to the lesson. He is very affordable and flexible with lesson times. I'd recommend Evan to anyone as an instructor.Feb 6, 2014Verified

Evan is one of a kind. He is patient, knowledgeable and easy to understand. Regardless if you are a beginner or have some experience with the guitar you can still learn more with Evan. He is always polite and on time if he comes to my home and always ready when I go to his place. He always gives good advice for bettering yourself and is always ready with a response when he is asked a question. He fee is comparable to other instructors and he rarely hurries through a session unless he has another lesson coming soon. One could not go wrong working with him and I wish him continued success.Dec 17, 2019
Evan was my classical and blues guitar teacher for over a year. He is knowledgable and patient. I would recommend him strongly for guitar lessons (for adults or children)Sep 6, 2012

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we jump right into basic exercises, a few simple terms, how to hold the instrument, and easy/fun songs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have studied with several instructors over 16 years - privately, in masterclasses, camps, and Universities. Performing live, recording, and teaching are all major passions of mine. I have been in many bands and currently play with a touring band. My degree is a Bachelor of Music from PSU.
