I had contacted Nick to work on two doors for us - one didn’t latch properly and one had started to drag on the floor when we opened and closed it since the hinges were not working properly. He contacted me immediately when I reached out on thumbtack and he said he could come the next day. He arrived promptly at 9 (our agreed upon time). He looked at both doors and quickly got to work. He fixed both issues within about 1-1.5 hours. Then he let me know he did other “handyman work” and he asked if I had anything else for him to do. I told him I had a closet with strange and terrible hooks that didn’t work well - some were broken. I showed him how there were also a few holes in the wall where people had tried to add more, better hooks. He said he could remove the faulty hooks, fill the holes, go pick up additional hooks at Home Depot (that I could choose online), and install them. Then he also offered to paint that closet (I declined at the time but I may have him come back for that). He did all that he promised and my family is very happy to have functioning hooks. I am now thinking of other jobs he can take on! A+ for punctuality, speed, quality of work, and he was also very nice and professional. Below are pictures of the non-functioning hooks and the new hooks he bought and installed.

We have hired Nick a few times since buying our old house in 12/24...I thought I had already posted a review, not sure what happened! Anyway, he is great! He has done some electrical work with our ancient wiring that we feel confident in, installed a few fixtures, installed flooring for a shed...
