    They responded quickly, got the appointment set up very professional and the results were great. Even old stains came out and our place looked great after. Would definitely recommend them to friends and will use them again!

    Recently moved from So Cal to Portland for job relocation. The condo we are temporarily renting was a disaster when we got here. Called Mess Maid Right and they were at my place the next day and made it livable. When we move out and buy a house we'll be using them regularly.

    They try very hard to satisfy customers requirements, for example, I need the cleaning to be done the next day and they made it to adjust their schedule. Their service/cost is pretty competitive. I'm not sure whether certain sticky stains could be removed by others, they did try hard though.

    While I was happy to receive a call back and a cleaning crew at my house within just a few hours, I was incredibly unhappy with the cleaning service they provided. I truly feel that they need better training to learn not only how to clean, but what to clean. This was a move-in cleaning and so there were not many things to work around (in terms of furniture or rugs in the way) or pay attention to, but after they left I just kept finding more and more places that had been completely untouched. There were light fixtures that had not even been dusted, baseboards that only needed a wipe, and even the floors were still dirty (my bathroom floor was black and disgusting, I had to clean it myself and it was not hard to clean), cabinets with dust/dirt/old dog hair in, and I even found cobwebs in my downstairs bathroom. You cannot tell me you cleaned somewhere where I find cobwebs. I felt that the crew was more concerned with leaving within the three hours they said they would be there for rather than doing a good job. They have you sign a service agreement stating that they will provide the cleaning service, and in the event that you are not happy with the service, you should not re-clean the area, you should wait and they will have the same cleaning crew back within 24 to fix the mistake. That is all well and good but a service agreement states that a service will be provided, and when it blatantly isn't, I feel that the company has not held up their end of the agreement. I also do not think that the same crew should be allowed back to finish a job they should have done right the first time around. In my case, I could not wait around to move into a dirty house with my breathing problems and when I had a truck to return within less than 24 hours, so I re-cleaned the areas myself. I spoke with Denisse and she was completely unwilling to fulfill my request of a partial refund. She quoted her service agreement again and again, and it is unfortunate to find out the hard way why that agreement exists.

    Unfortunately this report is not completely accurate and does not properly represent the circumstances. I can only say this about the above report: There are some people in life you come across that no matter what you do, you will not be able to please. The 3 wonderfully competent cleaners that cleaned for this client, were also the same 3 cleaners that happened to clean for the 5 Star review clients below. After this client submitted her unsatisfactory report, We called her and offered her to return just to ensure she experienced the high quality cleaning I know we can offer. The clients response to me was "no" she would not like anyone to come back. We always have and always will strive to go above and beyond for all our clients and this time was no different. Shannon just wanted a refund. We explained that before we could provide her with a refund we needed to follow the stated terms in our Service Agreement, which is to return and re-clean any areas that were not satisfactory. Keep in mind that she never stated over the phone the refund amount, nor in this review. It wasn't until we read a review on yelp that we found out that she wanted a 50% refund ($148.50). Please note that the $297.00 that she paid + the $1.00 Tip per cleaner (which is more insulting than kind) she paid was reimbursed to her by her land lord so the need for a refund was a way for her to get $ back she had already been reimbursed. It may be that this is standard behavior in in LA but in Portland where small business are supported highly by the local community is not. -Mess Maid Right NW

    I contacted this company online, booked on line and had a very good experience. My kitchen counters are cleaner than when I moved in. Everything is just wonderful. I asked for and received a really good, deep cleaning. These ladies are not afraid to scrub! I had some special circumstances & needs. Denisse and her assistant did exactly as I asked, did it well and even found a missing earring! I highly recommend this company. Denisse is a savvy young business person. I really like their sense of honesty and ability to relate to the people they service.
