Jillian created for my company a unique, original and incredibly classy monogram and logo. I could never have imagined it would be as perfect as it is. I gave Jillian very abstract thoughts and she in short order has proven her abilities to be responsive and spot on in creating a very real and concrete design. Jillian designed the logo and style guide for our company, Mirolo Chocolatier (www.mirolochox.com). We had a very specific vision about what we wanted, but no clue how to get it! Jillian listened carefully to our concepts and preferences and came up with three wonderful proposals - the hardest part was deciding which to go with! Jillian was really easy to work with and very open to any changes we proposed. She was creative and responsive with new suggestions. After two or three iterations we had exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Jillian for your design or branding project.

Jillian has designed a number of logos and brochures for our grocery store and real estate operations. I work as a real estate developer and have found Jillian to be extremely creative and timely. She is a talented individual! Other than having a wonderful eye for color and design, one of Jillians strengths is that she understands business and business practices. I have worked with designers in the past who are talented but unable to communicate with a business audience. Jillians ability, and genuine desire, to understand our different businesses has translated into products, particularly logos, which perfectly portray those businesses and they always end up looking fresh and new. A number of times I have called Jillian to develop a logo or brochure and provided very little direction as to the look of the finished product. Jillian is able to understand my needs with the questions she asks and translates my answers into hand drawn sketches. We can go from what is often less than a concept to a definitive direction in 30 minutes of questions and sketching. Jillians talent with free-hand drawing is a perfect complement to her computer design skills. She combines the two to create a stellar finished product. I cant say enough good things about Jillian. She turns our stale board room into an exciting exploration of art, color, and design. Hands down she is the most talented designer and the most creative person I have ever come across. The next client to benefit from Jillians talents will be a happy one.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All depends on the work. I typically charge $500 for a logo and I charge hourly for any other printed material like brochures, business cards, etc..
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I interview you! I want to know what you need, what is your demographic and what do you hope to achieve through my designs. I then do a little market research based on your product and begin brainstorming ideas. This could mean hand sketches or it could mean starting a Pinterest board in your honor!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always! Technology is constantly changing and there is too much competition out there to NOT be on top of it.
