I hired Better Life Maids because I was impressed that they utilized all-natural cleaning supplies. Even though the quote was slightly on the high end, this was important to me and I rewarded myself after a busy 6+ weeks at work with a deep clean of my apartment.
The two ladies who cleaned my apartment arrived within the time frame and were mostly polite, although I could hear their color commentary about the sad state of my bathroom sink clearly from the next room. I felt comfortable leaving them there and so went to an appointment. When I returned home they were still there and informed me that they had accidentally broken my microwave plate. I was understanding -- things happen, and Heather assured me via phone that they would replace the plate as soon as possible.
Overall the clean was OK. The bathroom, floors, and walls were done well, but the surfaces were not thoroughly cleaned. I actually went through and wiped down the kitchen counter myself after they had left, and found numerous particles and dust on it.
My clean was two weeks ago, and I still have not received my microwave plate. I actually received an email from Heather this morning saying that the order had never even gone through. I was understanding before about the accident, but this kind of negligent incompetence is not excusable in my mind.

Andrea, you are right to have been frustrated...there is no reason that you should have had to wait two weeks to receive your replacement microwave plate. I do apologize for any inconvenience that we caused you. As soon as I discovered that "Daewoo" did not process or ship my order for a new replacement microwave dish for you, I immediately tried to locate a place in portland to purchase the replacement dish. Unfortunately, I was not successful at finding the replacement so I bought you a new "Daewoo" microwave with the plate. I hope that resolved the matter.
I also appreciate your feedback. It helps Chris and I know what to focus on when we provide ongoing training with our staff. Our goal is to always provide a good experience to our clients...we are sorry that we missed the mark with you. Thank you for giving us a try and please let me know if there is anything else that we can do.
