No "heavy item fee", no "stairs fee", no "mileage fee", literally no other fees except hourly rate and truck fee. Minimum order is 2 hours. I had three gents help me with my very disorganized move and they were wonderful. They came in, saw what they were working with, and max gave me a general idea of how long he thought it would take which ended up being fairly accurate when you take into consideration my new place was in downtown Portland. They loaded up quick and really tried to make sure everything was in the correct rooms to limit as much heavy lifting later on my part as possible. In the past, my only experience with mover had been military movers, and I can assure you that Max Alex and Andrew put far more care into their work than the military guys. Their prices really aren’t too terrible either, especially not for the attention to detail and security of your items.

The boys were very good and reliable and did all the packing, loading and unloading. There were a few things to do (for them) that was lost in the communication with their group but without any issues they accommodated things as needed. They worked late and began pretty early. They took 8.5 hours for doing the moving out and moving in to the new home and I felt that was too much. But, the people were very friendly, responsive and prompt. I will hire them again if I am moving within Portland in the future.
