Highly recommend these guys! Not only did they help us with literal last minute's notice finish packing up our very cluttered house, but then they spent the ENTIRE next day helping us move. Organized, friendly, efficient, and willing to go above and beyond. Will definitely be using these guys the next time we need any help moving anything! Lakeford really understands their business. In addition to packing our 4 bedroom home, they packed a moving pod I had on the grounds so effectively and efficiently, that it saved lots of work and time on the back in. Overall, the move took longer than they initially anticipated, so in hindsight would have added an extra mover for 4 instead of 3. But still they did a great job!

I left this on Yelp too.
Booked them 2 times to move my mom into memory care and then an adult care home. Prices were quite good and I needed that quality of service. Tyler, Mykol, and Nathaniel were a pleasure, knew their job well, had the right tools, and made it all easy on me.
1. Excellent communication to preplan the move with photos and details. 2. Moved a 350lb very expensive hospital bed. 3. Boxed everything we had sorted into piles. 4. On time. Got done quickly to my sense of how much was there. 5. Removed massive stress on me to manage the move. I didn't. We went over what goes and showed labels. I left and everything we specified arrived without any damage. 6. Kept in touch when questions came up or I forgot to tell them something. 7. Insured. Small business.

The team was hard working, professional in care and wrapping of all furniture, and strategic in unloading all the boxes or containers! They were very helpful in suggestions and care of all our lifetime possessions. They were very reasonable in pricing for the labor they saved us. Highly and without question would recommend them for any moving need!!

We offer a 5% discount for military members and seniors. For specialized items like pianos or hot tubs, we provide flat-rate add-on pricing so you know the cost upfront.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a clear conversation. We’ll discuss the scope of your move, any fragile items, and your timeline. Once booked, you'll receive a confirmation. On moving day, we call 15-30 minutes before arrival. We perform a walkthrough, carefully wrap your furniture, and efficiently load the truck. At your new home, we place every box and piece of furniture exactly where you want it.

Our team isn't just "muscle"—we are trained professionals. Every crew member undergoes training in proper lifting techniques, furniture disassembly/reassembly, and the specific physics required for moving high-value items like pianos and pool tables.
