- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in transparent, "no-surprise" pricing. Our rates are competitive for the Portland area and typically include the truck, fuel, and all standard moving equipment (blankets, dollies, and shrink wrap). We offer a 5% discount for military members, seniors, and first-time Thumbtack users. For specialized items like pianos or hot tubs, we provide flat-rate add-on pricing so you know the cost upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a clear conversation. We’ll discuss the scope of your move, any fragile items, and your timeline. Once booked, you'll receive a confirmation. On moving day, we call 15-30 minutes before arrival. We perform a walkthrough, carefully wrap your furniture, and efficiently load the truck. At your new home, we place every box and piece of furniture exactly where you want it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team isn't just "muscle"—we are trained professionals. Every crew member undergoes training in proper lifting techniques, furniture disassembly/reassembly, and the specific physics required for moving high-value items like pianos and pool tables. We stay updated on the best packing materials to ensure zero-damage transitions.
