Introduction: Hello and thank you for looking at my profile! My name is Mandy Biedenweg and I own and operate Lumos Maxima Event Services! Right now because of COVID restrictions, I am primarily officiating small ceremonies and helping people plan small gatherings that fit within county guidelines where they live. You can hire us as an officiant only or also have our help with wedding planning and coordination for ceremonies that are a bit larger. I can also coordinate bookings into 2021 at The Laurelhurst Club venue in east Portland, or you can contact the venue directly. I specialize in themed parties and events! My FAVORITE events are baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers and weddings, and holiday parties! As you might have guessed, I particularly love Harry Potter or Unicorn themed events! I have an extensive customer service and hospitality industry background, a current OLCC permit, and am an internet ordained Chaplain. I do full-service event planning, including coordinating rentals, vendors, etc (you pay them directly) or just pre-planning and same day decorating and onsite same-day coordination including rehearsals. I can also help you with pre-planning, choosing vendors, and ordering decorations and then let you DIY the event on your day if you are on a budget or not in my local area! I also can be hired as an extra server to help your dinner and clean up flow smoothly, as a bartender to serve beer/wine/cider/pre-chosen spirit cocktails to your guests, and/or to serve as your wedding officiant! Finally, I have access to exclusive pricing at an event venue in the SE Portland area that has both indoor and seasonal outdoor capabilities and a capacity of 150 guests! I charge a flat per event fee (based on event type and hours needed onsite) on top of the cost of decorations and expenses which you set the budget for. I can either set up only or stay and do on-site/same-day coordination and clean up as well. I can also provide a small selection of desserts myself or coordinate outside catering. I have a small assortment of items for rent and great vendor partners for everything else. Reach out and tell me your idea! Mandy was extremely helpful with making suggestions and offering several options to fit our needs. She stayed in touch and remained flexible during this pandemic. Even gave us a thoughtful gift for our 1 yr anniversary! Thank you for making the bartending piece of our wedding planning so easy.
