- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first begin with a 15-minute phone call to get a better understanding of the service(s) that you would like, frequency, your availability and to address any questions/concerns that you may have. A brief questionnaire is emailed after our call to gather additional info, such as your likes/dislikes, allergies, goals, kitchen equipment, and basic background info. PERSONAL CHEF SERVICES: I will create a custom menu and email it to you for final review. Once approved by you, I will begin cooking on the agreed upon date. NUTRITION CONSULTATION: after a brief 15-minute phone consult, a fillable 3-day diet journal will be emailed to you to record everything you eat and drink, as well as any symptoms of discomfort you may experience after eating. I ask that you email the diet journal back to me in order for me to review current eating patterns to determine current positive habits as well as areas of improvement and to identify potential food sensitivities. If possible, I ask that you bring your most recent blood work to our initial appointment for us to discuss any areas of potential concern. PRIVATE COOKING LESSONS: Lessons are designed for all diet types and I will contact you to review what the session will look like. A shopping list will be given in advance and ingredients are to be purchased prior to the lesson. Lessons are designed to host 1 or 2 students in the comfort and convenience of your own kitchen. Classes are hands-on, and students are expected to engage as an integral part of the learning experience.
