Get It Straight was founded in 2007 as a service to those in need of simplifying their daily lives. Since then I have assisted over 350 clients in making room to live their best life including: - Professional Organizing - Packing & Unpacking - Day of Wedding Coordinator - Event Planning & Management As a certified project manager, I have over 15 years of professional organizing, event and administrative management experience. I take pride in achieving efficient and positive results with compassion, detail and being budget savvy. I have worked over 100 weddings from 5 star hotel to rustic farm to glamorous destination and specialize in day of coordinating services. In either role, I strive to deliver impeccable customer service with the clients wishes and vision in mind. In addition to the overall benefits of my services, I use creative solutions to minimize costs and have saved some clients up to $5,000 on large scale projects. Wow, Autumn dived right in and in very short order helped me work through two huge problem areas in the bedroom and outside shed where I'd been completely stuck for several years — and all while using our existing boxes and bins. We will need her back again soon for the rest of the house!

Great! Autumn was on point and super in thinking through my more challenging systems organization. I didn't have much to purge and on the surface the house didn't look crazy, but with two kids and two adults in a smaller living space it still felt like we didn't have concrete systems in place to make it easier to be in the house and to clean up (all the time). I thought I only wanted her to help me assess the bedrooms and closets and how to be more functional living small, but she ended up integrating the whole house and redoing our storage and giving me lots of tips through our session on what to keep in mind for look, feel and flow. Totally worth it, if you're not a born systems organizer, give her a call.

I've hired Autumn for several sustained projects over the past four years. I completely trust Autumn and appreciate the high level of professionalism and excellent value she provides.Our initial project was the overall organization of my house and garage after being overwhelmed with the accumulation of several estates and empty nesting in a home that was too big for me. Ah the pleasures of parking my car in the garage! The latest and biggest project was downsizing from my 6 bedroom house of 28 years to a 2 bedroom apartment in which Autumn's true range of services and skills became apparent in a deadline situation. As moving project manager she comprehensively handled all aspects of the move, including resale and donation of excess property, packing and pod arrangement (at a lower cost than traditional movers). She then staged and interior styled the new apartment by unpacking, organizing, shopping for supplemental furniture and decor, placing artwork... everything down to the lightbulbs and shower curtains needed to immediately function in my new space.Perspective: After selling my home within 5 days, I only had 30 days for the whole process of downsizing and packing... then I went to Europe for 6 weeks while Autumn cleared and prepared my house for the new owners. I was able to return to a turnkey (and tastefully) staged apartment, right down to the essential cleaning items and organized clothing in my walk-in closet! A true turnkey experience.

We hired Autumn to help downsize and move out of our home (2,500 to 1,100 square feet). Autumn was amazing and tremendously helpful. Her advice and suggestions saved us around $600 in moving expenses. She helped us pack and organize. On moved day, she saved a lot of time by directing the movers - probably saving us another $300 in hourly charges. Autumn works both fast and smart, and had a positive attitude that got us through a tough time. Would definitely hire her again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Competitive $60 per hour rate with a 4 hour minimum for organizing in home. Additionally you receive a follow up action plan and a donation run per session (which can amount to one free extra hour). Day of wedding coordination services start at $750-$850 for an 8 hour block with add on hours available depending on the customized needs for your big day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer an initial complimentary phone consultation to walk you through the process. The first appointment consists of a 4 hour minimum in which immediate results are created, with options to extend work time as needed. Post session I can email a recap of outstanding items and an organizing plan for your future goals. Every job and client is different, so I adapt and customize services to your needs and level of participation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have helped over 350 clients in home, business or general life organization. My background in events and project management helped shape my approach in regards to prioritizing, logistics, details as well as working and adapting to different personalities.
