This is my first time working with an organizer and Megan has all the qualities and experience I was looking for. I’ve had other first interviews with people, but it just wasn’t a match. Megan is helping me get ready for Christmas and clean-up clutter. After one three hour session, I feel better and more ready for the family gathering here. She is coming again before Christmas and I’m sure this will be the best Christmas we have had in years. This has been my family home for 70 years so beginning in January. We are going to address all the items we have that belonged to the past and move them on to family members, donations, consignment or garbage. What a relief! Megan is very responsive, quick and friendly and I highly recommend her.👏👍

I had Lillie as my primary organizer and she was great! She is very friendly and she listened to our organizing troubles and offered really good solutions for it. Especially since we have a puppy that likes picking stuff off our tables and counters to chew on.

My husband and I moved to Portland with 2 kids, 2 dogs, Guinea pigs pulling a uhaul and followed by an 18 wheeler. We were the “Chaos Caravan!” After coming across country we were lost, swimming in our stuff, in sheer chaos. Megan was referred to us and has been an integral part of our lives. Megan intuitively strives to remove both physical and mental obstacles to make life “easier.” She develops realistic systems based on individual needs and lifestyles. And they work! Part of what separates Megan and her team from others is the understanding that people want to live in organizedhomes, but often lack the time, space or knowledge to implement effective change. She picks up on subtle nuances and is gentle and sensitive, making sure to pace at a comfortable level by both experience and intuition. Megan goes above and beyond. Not only did she organize and come up with systems and processes to fit our lifestyle, she and her team helped me decide what to keep, donate or throw away. She also arranged for all of the above to happen, whether it was recycling trucks or donations or something else. Megan set up all of the pick up and drop offs. She even put things on Consignement for us. It seems like she has a solution for everything that you don’t even know you need. We couldn’t be more grateful. We have a continued schedule with Megan and her team to help us continue the systems she partnered with us to create. My biggest takeaway with Megan is that organizing our space is the best way to honor ourselves. I can’t recommend Megan highly enough! To say Megan is “stellar” is a gross understatement.

I’m about 2/3 of the way through my first project with Megan Sears Organization. I say “first” because I know I will rebook in the future. I have had a great experience so far. First, Megan consulted with me by phone to determine the scope of my project. The organizers assigned to my project have been easy to work and communicate with. Overall, their work product has reflected my goals. In the few areas that needed fine tuning, the organizers were professional, and made the adjustments I asked for without any issue.

Megan offers a comprehensive service that addresses all aspects of the issue. She understands the challenge of not only the organizational task, but also, removing items that have been sorted off and deciding where they need to be donated, etc. She is wonderful to work with!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Keeping the small-town feel to our company, we place people before paydays. Meaning, we want to reach as many customers in need as possible. After ten years in business, I still offer a highly competitive rate with a matching solid work ethic.
Because I specialize in helping stay at home moms and work at home parents find sanity in their sanctuaries, I offer prices that their small businesses and one-income-homes can afford.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personal connection is everything. My business is to get to know my client and the way they function in their day to day life. I ask my clients not to prepare or tidy the areas before I arrive so I can see the true nature in which I am working to balance for them. I actively ask questions and encourage them to be as involved as they feel comfortable.
At the end of our session, I leave not only knowing they are completely satisfied with my work, but also at peace with their new organizational systems. Each home and person is unique, it's my job to find personalized systems that work with each client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years in customer service, administrative work, and professional organization experience.
