Eric video recorded me using a state of the art HD camera and high quality tripod, of me doing gymnastic diving. I was doing acrobatic diving from various platforms up to 25 feet, (7.5 meter) high and a 1 and 3 meter Springboard at the THPRD Olympic pool.
Eric was very professional in choosing various camera angles, including difficult views and positions, to obtain excellent HDTV type footage. Good fluid camera motion with close-ups, great distant shots and an eye for detail. Eric is very easy, accommodating and fun to work with.
I'd recommend Eric Newland to anyone needing high quality, affordable and excellent cinematography work done for any event or just personal performance work.

Eric was professional, punctual and flexible. I contracted Eric while living in another state (Texas) for a surprise proposal at Multnomah Falls. Eric and I worked out a secret plan to meet for the first time right at the monumental moment I would ask my best friend to marry me. Eric was cool, calm, and collect as the plans changed due to the weather. He was perfectly on point for photos that captured a milestone in my life. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for quality work and I am with out a doubt confident Eric can adapt to any venue.
