- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
every year i attend multiple conferences, workshops, and classes to stay current and informed on the directions of my industry. As well as educating myself, i am also an Educator and industry leader at WPPI, the worlds largest and most prestigious yearly photography conference that hosts thousands and thousands of the industries top photography professionals. It's a huge honor that i wear with pride. i love giving back to my fellow photographers and passing on to them the knowledge i have acquired after years in this industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
my father taught me how to shoot when i was very young. he allowed me to use his Nikon SLR, but ONLY if he never caught be using 'auto' mode. as long as i was shooting manually, and thinking FOR my camera and not letting it do the work for me, i was able to use it for my creative purposes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
i shoot luxury destination weddings, local family sessions, and boudoir sessions in my studio in Portland Oregon.
