Lessons for our grandchildren have been great. Shannon is fun and spontaneous yet able to help the kids focus. Lessons are individualized to the student’s abilities. Our kids are 4 1/2 and 6 1/2.

My son is learning so much more than the basics of piano from Shannon and developing the love of music and creativity besides just playing notes. He's 8 and just starting lessons.

I am a music major on break for the summer. Shannon heard what i wanted from my lessons and helped create a customized lesson plan to fit my needs. He is very obviously passionate about teaching , and maintained an open dialogue such that I was able to ask questions and recieve fleshed out answers. I have had very unmotivated and non-personalized music teachers in the past and I was exstatic to find that Shannon was neither of those things.

Details: 18 - 25 years old • Yes, the student can read music • 2 - 4 yrs of formal training • Jazz • Yes, the student has a piano • 30 minutes • Willing to work around teacher's schedule • I travel to the piano teacher

As an adult looking for beginner lessons I was a bit nervous at first but I'm very happy that I found Shannon. He is easy to work with and keeps my lessons interesting so that I'm continuously progressing. He's very versatile in his style and I believe I'm learning more from him because he is a working professional musician. If you are looking for piano lessons I highly recommend checking him out!
