Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I love meeting people from my town (and beyond) who want to create special photos. (We have a lot in common!) Many stories are shared during these meetings and it's a great experience each time. I feel lucky to meet so many outstanding people! Many of my family sessions are with groups of people who are from places all over the USA (or even abroad) who get together here in Orlando. Those are very special moments to see relatives together again after many years of being apart! I would say family sessions are one of my favorites, though it's hard to actually say which sessions are closest to my heart. I absolutely love pets, children, couples, weddings and even event photography. The list goes on! But the best part is definitely the people and the joy they get out of beautiful new photos. To know they are decorating their homes with my photography and sharing the images with their friends and family really makes my day - every day.

When I was searching for an independent photographer, professionalism, skill, and a reasonable price were my only requirements, I can now confidently say that Kayla not only fulfilled all of those requirements but went above and beyond to make the session one of the most memorable moments of my life. I planned to propose to my girlfriend on board a Disney Yacht. The logistics involved were very intricate and the plan not devoid of failure. In fact, we went through some difficulties prior to the proposal with it raining unexpectedly. Kayla was very patient and worked with the yacht crew to ensure that the whole event was a surprise to my girlfriend; and what a night it was. It would not have been successful without the brainstorming sessions with Kayla, and I thank her dearly for it. The session was a surprise proposal which lasted around 2-3 hours. (It was supposed to be only 2 hrs long. Kayla drove an hour each way to get there and spent some extra time with us. She even fulfilled our obnoxious request of editing a few pictures so we could send it to our family after she reached home at 2am) Let me not leave the most important outcome of this session out. The photographs were nothing short of phenomenal! If you are looking for someone who immensely loves her job and is the best at it, Kayla is your person. Please visit her website and you will see it for yourself.

I hired Kayla at LoveLight Lens to capture a very special family reunion with 14 family members who had not all been together in more than 10 years. From the very first moment I started talking with Kayla about my hopes for the session, she exuded great care and absolute professionalism. She was so creative and open to all the various groupings we hoped to capture. She excells at the use of light and has a very creative spirit. She was as fabulous with my 7 year old as she was the older members of my extended family. She captured the life and love of my family and for that I am ever so grateful. I couldnt recommend Kayla more! Great ready to adore your photos!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the photographer you hire is in love with their job and their work. Many photographers only do it as a hobby, or it's not their true talent or calling in life. Hiring someone like that means that you will not get the most for your hard earned money and you'll likely be disappointed with your images. Also be sure that your photographer has quality equipment and offers high-res photos that you can print on your own. Don't let anyone hold your photos hostage! We photographers may take the photos and they are part of our portfolios, but at the end of the day the images are yours alone. The process of receiving them should be easy and stress free.
