Introduction: My experience stems from ground up projects which includes all phases of new home construction to remodel. The phases range from structural or "building" phases such as concrete, framing, seismic, exterior (sheething, siding, painting, fascia, windows and doors etc.) and extend to finish phases (counters, cabinets, floors, tile, insulation, sheetrock, painting) as well as proficiency and knowledge with electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems in relation to the whole home system. The services provided with building/remodel/handyman and maintenance also includes drafting consultations and permitting with a guarantee of successful city inspection passes.
Delivering a quality and satisfying product allows me to feel pride in my craft. The challenge in working with highly variable and differing residential home configurations can be rewarding, as jobs are rarely the same from home to home. Successful completion of jobs both small and large in scope is also rewarding as the work performed can be witnessed for years to come, leaving proof of craft as a symbol of one's efforts.

I have numerous rental units around the Portland metro area and I have used David throughout the years. David is thorough, personable and reasonable with his rates especially since there are always adds to the "basic" jobs. David has performed various jobs ranging from roofing, shed building, siding, painting (always with turnovers) and complete kitchen and bath remodels. David has been resourceful as he takes his work home by shopping for the best deals for me and always works with my budget limits. Can't go wrong with David. It helps that he is college educated (masters degree I think) and is presentable unlike some contractors that I have hired. All in all you can't go wrong with David and I was happy that he asked me to write this review for him.

David Yoo remodeled my kitchen and bathroom for me and finished my basement for rentals. I asked for granite counters and new cabinets installed in the kitchen and it turned out amazing! For my bathroom he took out my old fiberglass shower and I had him install a new stand up shower completely tiled along with a new vanity and built-in's. The basement got a full remodel including an egress window, beams and bathroom and kitchen. Everything turned out beautiful and he is very professional and knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone looking to remodel their place or their rental units.

We had David trim out some windows on a stucco exterior that had been installed previously. He did a nice job installing them and painted them all to match. In addition David installed interior lights in our house and he also did some work staining the fence out back. Very happy, would recommend him for further projects.
