Having mick officiate our wedding ceremony was magical. mick was genuinely the first person we thought of, and luckily she agreed! The process went smoothly. We had a virtual date where she listened to our ideas and vision. From there, we trusted her to do her thing as a talented and recognized poette and writer. Ahead of the actual event, she shared her writing so we could give feedback. We didn't have any notes, though, because it perfectly fit our vision.

on the day of, mick opened by integrating the rainy weather and quoting Nikki Giovanni in a beautiful, memorable way.
