FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been shooting pictures since I was 10 years old. It's in my blood!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you see at least two full wedding galleries that were delivered to past clients. Don't be concerned that your photographer hasn't shot at your venue before. It doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. A talented, experienced professional photographer can capture great pictures no matter where they are. And, if you want "photojournalism", make sure you understand what that is and find a photographer who doesn't have a portfolio full of posed pictures that are made to look real.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's important to be comfortable shooting photos in any kind of light but what is really important is knowing when to push the shutter. That takes years of experience to learn.
