Introduction: I have been a clown for nine years. I love working with kids and their families. I am an Auguste Clown (natural flesh tone makeup base) so my makeup is not scary to kids or their families. I face paint, do balloons and temporary tattoos (not glitter tattoos) along with some simple pocket magic. I also offer during the holidays Mrs. Claus and Christmas Elf. During the Halloween season I do not do events in clown due to the whole scary clown trend during this season but I do offer a couple of other characters (pirate, witch, cotton candy princess) instead, or am happy to an event in plain clothes.
I have experience with children in all settings from malls and corporate events to smaller private parties and church events. I am an active member of two clown alleys and two global clown organizations and work all year to improve my skills.
My base rate for a 2 hour party is $175 BUT there are many variables to this rate. Depending on how many kids are expected, if you want face painting only or face painting and balloons, in clown, or out of clown, how far I need to travel to/from your event, do you want temporary tattoos, etc.
NOTE: I have a 2 hour minimum if more than 12 children and asked to provide more than 1 service and if travelling outside of Salem.
ALL of these variables are considered when pricing your event. An event could cost you $200 or it could cost you more, or less - again depending on what you are looking for and how close to Salem you are.

I love seeing the kids faces after I have painted them or given them a balloon animal. Just takes a few minutes to make their lives a little happier.
P.S. Many requests come in for 1 hour to do multiple services for more than 10-12 children. I have a 2 hour minimum and also if I travel more than 30 minutes one-way from my home, I charge a small travel fee. Please think about how many children you will have at your event and what you are asking for and that will help determine how much time your Entertainer will need to accommodate your guests.
