Introduction: I have life-long experience honing my skills; I have taken clothing and textiles courses at Oregon State University and have practices my craft for many years. I have experience teaching beginning sewing skills to elementary aged children and beginning sewing for adults through Portland Parks and Recreation. I have received statewide recognition for my sewing skills; in 2003 I was awarded 1st place winner in the adult category in the Make It With Wool competition and received a National Honors award at the national level competition. I enjoy teaching what I know and seeing the creative development in others.
