I recently hired Reign Renovations to mount our 75” TV over our fireplace/mantle, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. They were punctual, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to ensure the TV was mounted securely and at the perfect height, and even cleaned up after the job was done.

It said above to only choose "3" items, but in fact, Jimmy is all five: responsive, punctual, offers great value, is professional, and his work quality excellent. The only reason I marked 3 of those is Thumbtack wouldn't allow me more than 3.
My husband and I recently relocated to Eugene, Oregon from out of state. Due to the timing of our move, I arrived approximately three weeks before he could join me. With a significant amount of new furniture arriving and numerous projects to tackle around the house, I initially attempted to manage a few tasks on my own. It quickly became clear that I lacked the necessary skill, energy, and—admittedly—patience.
After researching local services, I reached out to Jimmy based on his excellent reviews and the professionalism reflected in his background description on Thumbtack. As a newcomer to both the city and the state, I was understandably hesitant to invite someone I didn’t know into our home, especially while living alone. However, from our very first interaction, Jimmy put me at ease. He responded promptly, was upfront about his pricing and availability, and worked with me to prioritize my (admittedly long) list of tasks. Importantly, he never pressured me to share my address and made it clear that I could provide it when I felt comfortable.
On the day of service, Jimmy arrived exactly when he said he would. He was dressed in a professionally branded shirt, brought all the necessary tools, reconfirmed the tasks at hand, and got to work right away. His focus, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were evident in everything he did. He treated my home with great respect—offering to remove his shoes upon entry—and was even kind and gentle with our anxious French bulldog, who rarely warms up to strangers in our new home. Her quick comfort around Jimmy spoke volumes—sometimes pets are the best judges of character.

Jimmy was able to install in this old house, a new entry hall light, a porch light and was able to fix a ceiling fan so I didn't need a new one. I'll will book him again. I would most happily give him 10 stars and would recommend him to everyone.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I love what I do…and what I do is help people achieve their project goals with fair pricing and honest hard work. The truth is, every project is different. While some projects are smaller and demand very little to complete, some are larger and require scheduling and planning. To find a happy median, I try to charge in a way that is fair and accommodating for both the customer and myself.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I think that clear communication is the key to a successful project. My goal is to always clearly understand what my customers are asking so that we achieve the desired result together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been working in the construction world since around 2020 when I started for a one-man operation in Washington state. His focus was on providing solutions for the elderly and disabled so that they were able to stay at home. Through that role I gained a wealth of knowledge about construction and learned how to not only provide solutions, but communicate with those in need.
