In the past I’ve always struggled with finding mathtutoring that gives me confidence, is one on one, and is relatable to the concepts I struggle with. Mrs. Malm is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is kind, loving, and truly wants us to succeed. I am currently a sophomore and had her in both middle school and 4th grade. She taught so well and always stayed longer if a topic didn't make sense. I am currently in Honors Algebra 2 and have felt very good with how Mrs. Malm prepared me. I miss having her as my teacher everyday but am grateful for the hard work she put in to set me up for success! Thank you Mrs. Malm!

My hourly rate is $75 for a 50-minute tutoring session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have bachelor of science degrees in Chemistry and Biology. I have taught 4th grade for two years, and I have been teaching middle school math for the last 5 years. I have an Oregon teaching license with advanced mathematics endorsement.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in elementary school, I struggled in math, and there was no help available to help me with the stress and anxiety that math education brings. I have a passion and zeal for helping students understand math and ease their frustration. I believe all students can learn math and build a solid math foundation!
