Jeff has been working with us on landscaping projects at our home in Bucks County for a few years now. We first met him when installed our beautiful (and award winning) bluestone & brick patio and outdoor shower. He had been our "go to guy" ever since. Everything he has done at our house always gets compliments and people even stop and knock on our door to ask "who did your work "! He is always prompt, professional, meticulous, creative, hardworking, talented...he truly is the best!!
We had work done on a large wood deck (repair, power wash, and stain) on our house. We reached out to several contractors before deciding to use Michael Madonna and his team. We appreciated that they are a family-run business with 30+ years of experience. It was a pleasure working with Michael Madonna and his team from start to finish. Michael and his team were responsive, professional, and provided an honest assessment of the scope and cost of the project. They delivered on time and on budget without any hiccups. Because of the great work they did, we are planning to use them for other major remodeling/contracting work to be done on our house.
Mike was great to work with! Great communication and price! He was on time to the estimate appointment and the work day. Would highly reccommend his team - will use again for sure!
The project was a non-typical home addition. As the contractor, Dan Barrett shared his years of experience when recommending project plan alterations that resulted in improving the original design plans. Throughout the entire process, the construction site was cleaned up at the end of each day and materials were kept covered and protected from the weather. The combination of a team of skilled craftsmen, the full use of quality materials and solid attention to detail resulted in a very strong and beautiful finish. Barrett Custom Carpentry, LLC provided professional workmanship, continuous communication with the client and their prompt and polite service provided a pleasurable experience Barrett Custom Carpentry, LLC is an ideal contractor to work with.
LOOK NO FURTHER, KEVIN IS YOUR GUY!!!! My husband and I found Kevin on Thumbtack to replace and extend two of our decks. We were sold when Kevin told us he does the work himself so he knows it is done right. Kevin planned the construction to allow for us to slide our hot tub from the old deck to the new deck, eliminating the need for a crane, as our deck is not ground level. The deck was built alongside of our above ground pool and the steps turned out better then we hoped for. Kevin handled all the permits, inspections and township requirements. The deck turned out beautiful and the workmanship was impeccable. Kevin was courteous, cleaned up each evening and won over our pug! We would definitely recommend his services.
Our plumber was extremely courteous and respectful. He showed up on time to the job and got right to work. He was very reasonable stayed exactly within his estimate. We will be using him again in the future and I would highly recommend him.
Roger is a true professional. Provided estimate. Provide options to enhance the project aesthetically and fiscally. Helped my wife and I make decisions that made sense for our space and our budget. The result was the timely and seamless construction of solid, room enlargening, and some say "striking" bookshelves that will finish our living room (this picture does not do the project any justice). My wife and I already have other projects lined up for him. Calling you again soon Roger!
I just hired professional construction and after only their first visit for lawn care, I felt compelled to rate them. I only rate excellent or terrible experiences (as do most people). They did an excellent job! They are professional and thorough! I am so happy with their services and look forward to continuing with their service. Thank you tony
Paul did everything exactly as he said he would do. He arrived on time to evaluate the job and again when he came to hand deliver the estimate for the work. He started 2 days earlier than he said he would (asking if it was okay to start then) and finished the job in record time. Paul and his crew were clean, efficient, friendly and truly artists. My old stone retaining wall had collapsed and they used the old stone to rebuild the wall but they didn't stop there. Paul had recommended that we disassemble the wall, he'd clean up the stones to reuse and also make sure it had a proper foundation and drainage. Turns out there was no foundation on the original wall but my new wall is now sitting on a good solid foundation. The stone cleaned up so nice I am shocked at how beautiful the wall looks now! I love the work PLB Masonry did and they cleaned up after they left. Paul is now my "go to" guy for any and all masonry work I need in the future. And I have a lot I'm going to need! I am looking forward to seeing his designs for my back patio. Thanks PLB Masonry and Design!!
Kudos to PinoWorks, for a wonderful construction experience! Not only are they full versed in every aspect of construction ,(this is invaluable because you don't have to wait for the dry wall guy to be done before you get the painter, etc.) but they are immaculate and leave everything better than it was before! I wish I could post pictures of the magical Master Bath haven they produced for us, or the fabulous Sunroom. Next plan...a new Living Room with fireplace, that doesn't exist yet! (if I can get them away from our friends, that we recommended them to!) We even get the services of a decorator, so we can plan color and fabric schemes, etc!
Austin did a great job. The job was less labor intensive than he originally thought, so the final price was less than the estimate as well.
Randy thanks for fixing my Truth crank vinyl replacement window. Services planned during free estimate were no different than those rendered. Once the scheduled parts were ordered, we got exactly what we needed without being overcharged. Friendly customer service from a very professional team. When hubby doesn't have time to do the needed house repairs, we will call upon Randy--our new handyman. Thanks for our first well done job. We look forward to working with you and De again.
We hired Southern Construction to complete a rehab that was in jeopardy due to incompetence of the original contractor. Southern Construction repaired the work that was done incorrectly and finished the job for us. The completed home is beautiful. The contractor was honest, did what he said he would when he said he would. We felt blessed to have found him. We highly recommend Southern Construction for any design and construction job, no matter how large or small.
We are remodeling our family room and Bob responded quickly to our Thumbtack request for tile/decorative stone. As it turns out, Bob is a fully licensed general contractor. He did a great job on the fireplace stone. We further contracted to install recessed ceiling lights and to build a new mantle over the fireplace which required some creativity on his part. Excellent work on construction, drywall, electrical, mantle and of course the stone tile. Highly recommended.
Jon and his crew were fantastic to work with. They came into a sticky situation in our old home with crooked floors and worked with us to make it look amazing. They could not have been nicer or more professional and we are thrilled with the results - our house is completely transformed and they did everything they could to help us "live through" the construction with minimal interruption and two kids. Jon is very knowledgeable and I would absolutely recommend him for home projects.
We needed a curb repaired. Having absolutely zero knowledge of concrete made this the opposite of a DIY for us. We contacted multiple professionals, many of which gave us outrageously high estimates (think $2500-4000 for an 8 ft standard curb). Many more wouldn't even consider the project because 8 ft isn't a big enough job for them. Reyburn-Lightner not only considered it, but gave us a reasonable estimate. Professional, accessible, and dealing with them didn't make me want to tear my hair out. The gentlemen who actually did the work were the owner of the company and two assistants. All punctual (they said they'd arrive between 2-3pm and were there at 2:03 by my kitchen clock), they are a smaller operation, but you would never know three men were in my front yard fixing a curb. Not loud, no rude or course language, and all three went above and beyond what would be required to fix a curb. They even wheeled the extra dirt into my backyard for me, and leveled it out and made it look nice. The best part of working with these folks was that they could get the job done for a fair price QUICKLY. We needed the curb fixed before we could move, and with city regulations and other bureaucratic nonsense, they were more then flexible in working with us. Seriously, hire these folks. You won't regret it.
Mike provided light-speed service; completing the job within 6 hours of posting on Thumbtack! He did a great job for a reasonable charge. Can't ask for more. Recommend Highly!
Kim Bachman from Phil-Allen has done several jobs for me over the years on rental properties that my husband and I own. She comes out and gives the quotes personally and has always been spot on with her estimates. The work is A1 quality and very timely. I will always use Kim and Phil-Allen for any work we need done in the future.
Corey Built replaced our deteriorating 200 sq. ft. cement deck with an incredibly beautiful 400 sq ft composite-deck with lights. It's assembled extremely well with all ends finished and lined up. We absolutely love it. Chris the owner of Corey-Built, is very honest and approachable. Chris was on our build at least 90% of the time. Chris provided the initial plan and built it according to the design. Several issues came up during the build and Chris resolved these without a problem. The end product looks expensive as it was in material and labor. The deck was very well bought and assembled by Corey-Built. We're having Chris back to restore our laundry room and powder room. Big job requiring floor replacement, pocket door, lighting and cabinets. Expecting it to look awesome. Can't wait. I recommend Corey-Built for your next home construction build. Just don't use too much of his time. We're planning more jobs for Corey-Built after the laundry-room and powder room are finished. Garage, kitchen and basement are next..............
Easy to work with. Jeff completed my roof within a week for a price half that of anyone else who gave me an estimate.
I have been working with Swan Construction for a few years and have been happy with his services.
