Tom fixed a cabinet that had broken off a larger piece of furniture. He did the work quickly, and you can't even tell it had been broken. Definitely recommend.
A couple of months ago, after registering on Thumbtack, and receiving 5 estimates, we hired Noska Indoor Outdoor Services to handle the painting of our whole house (2 floors and over 2700 SF), as well as put hardwood floor in our kitchen and adjacent sun-room. Their estimate was really fair. The team was very pleasant, always on time, and the deliverable outstanding with attention to details regarding the painting and great craftsmanship for the flooring. My husband and I intend to hire them again for other improvement projects in and out of the house. Consider this company in your future plans!
He arrived as scheduled with a 5 minute buffer. His knowledge, skills and expertise were remarkable to a customer who is satisfied by no one. His pleasant, congenial and joking personality made the experience a most rewarding experience. In addition, he charged less than his estimate! That almost never happens. I hold him in high regard, will utilize his services in a hot minute and recommend him to others interested in antique furniture refinishing and repair. Please publish these comments for others to read, as he is an asset for your firm as well.
Job was done thoroughly and the results show. The refinished hardwood floors are beautiful.
assembled 2 pieces of furniture
We needed some trim work done to cover a settlement crack along a tray ceiling that I had not been able to repair. I posted the request on Thumbtack and got a few replies with hourly rates. I contacted a couple of the contractors because I wanted to get more than an hourly cost to do the work. I described the scope of the work to each contractor and said that I wanted to get a more concrete estimate. Joe Valentino of Valentino Construction and Design estimated the job would take about 3 hours to do. I agreed on the hourly rate, and I told him I would get the material and prime and paint the wood to be ready for him. We agreed on a date. Due to circumstances beyond our control that both Joe and I had, the work got delayed by about a month. Finally, a date was set. Joe said he would get the wood and prime it. I agreed. Joe and his helper showed up at the appointed time and got to work. They were meticulous in their work. Furniture was covered or moved and tarps were laid over the carpeting. Four hours later the work was done. Beautifully, I may add. The trim work was done and Joe had even given it a couple of coats of paint to finish it. Both my wife and I loved it. They cleaned up and vacuumed the carpets. Furniture was put back in place. I asked Joe what the cost would be. He told me that we had agreed to the three hours of labor and the cost of materials so that would be it. Fantastic I thought; a man of his word. I would highly recommend Valentino Construction and Design to anyone needing carpentry work. They are friendly, do great work and are reasonable with their pricing. I give them 5 stars!
Michael did a very nice job refinishing two end tables and changing the finish from maple to light cherry. I would recommend him to anyone.
Mike repaired a upper support on a sectional couch that had been stepped on and broke. Mike was on time for the appointment and was able to repair the couch on the visit. He was quick and professional. I would hire him again for any future furniture repairs.
We had several things that needed to be done in our house. These included a kitchen counter and backsplash, work in bathrooms, painting, refinishing of badly-worn steps, etc. Tom handled it all. He advised us when we had questions and allowed us to stay within our budget while doing work that looked out of our budget. Tom paid attention to details and is someone who takes pride in what he does. We have a few more things we are thinking of having done and will contact Tom first. We highly recommend him. Feel confident that when you hire Tom your work will be done to your satisfaction.
From start to finish, I always felt that what I wanted and what the finished furniture represented was me. I cannot say enough about BBRANDAUX & ASSOCIATES knowledge of paints, woods, finishes, etc., and their explaining every detail of how and what was done to make my furniture more than I could ever dream it could look like was amazing. They turned ok furniture into something I never imagined I could afford in my home. I keep going into the living room and dining room and smiling that my dream of having BEAUTIFLE , EXPENSIVE furniture is now a dream come true, without the need to spend an enormous amount of money. I LOVE the work done and I will definitely have more dreams done by BRANDAUX & ASSOCIATES, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You can really make dreams come true.
Dave has completed several projects for me in the last couple of years. First time was a panic call when Hurricane Irene was scheduled to hit, and he responded immediately to clear out my gutters and caulk my windows. He has replaced drywall, and recently re-did my living room, ripping up the carpet, installing new drywall and painting, and completed the job by picking up my new furniture and delivering it! Dave's a dependable man, reasonable pricing, and a good guy who does nice work!
ive had multiple projects completed. whether it was furniture, walls or cabinets the outcome always exceeded my expectations.
Greg was wonderful, great service great prices and very easy and enjoyable to work with.

It was like trying to get uaed to the new normal ( the poorer normal)
One stop shop. I design, build and intall furniture.
My reputation in all aspects of work is that of meticulous, creative and always taking quality to a higher level. I have seen competitors and high end store bought pieces and often am disappointed with level of durability and strength for similar price points. My clients like that I do not stop at delivery and final payment day, I like to make sure they are happy by checking in over the next year to see how my piece is holding up. This helps strengthen my relationships as well as teaches me if something does not perform as I expected, which is extremely rare :)
I can do custom cabinet making, furniture repairs, antique repairs, and historic homes and buildings restorations (interior and exterior). My resume is available upon request.
I have worked in an office for well over 20 years. On my spare time, I like to repair / assemble furniture and appliances to make extra cash.
