Introduction: I have been drawing, coloring, painting, and creating for as long as I can remember. From art lessons at Carnegie Museum as a child and an independent art study in high school to a design degree from the Art Institute, I have developed and expressed my creativity in many ways. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional graphic designer, independently as a portrait artist, sports illustrator, mural artist, interior design consultant as well as professional and freelance photographer. I am a throw-in custom cake decorator, avid gardener, and occasional woodworker. I joyfully express creativity in a wide variety of media. My love for graphic design stems from my passion to create while solving problems. The constantly changing technology of this field means an ever-evolving arsenal of tools with which to solve these problems, and the required learning to remain relevant further fuels my passion. As a graphic designer, I have experience producing innovative designs for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, logos, identity packages, outdoor advertising, web banners, print ads, office documents, trade show displays, direct mail pieces, website design layout, banner ads, remarketing, e-mail campaigns, invitations, apparel, product catalogs, posters, promotional and directional signage, special occasions, charity events, photography, newsletters, surveys, sales presentations, advertising specialties, and more.
