Our journey with Knucklehead K9 Services and Tony Bly started this past summer. We adopted a 3 year old German Shepherd in December, 2016. Soon after, I enrolled him in a local obedience dog training facility; however, we were noticing increasing reactivity issues, and it soon became apparent that they were not equipped to help us and we were asked not to return. He would react to people, dogs, bicycles, horses, etc. and his world became confined to our back yard. Thankfully, we were referred to Tony and after several conversations with him and an initial meeting, we signed up for the six week E Collar training course. I could see substantial improvement even after the first lesson and now a whole world has opened to us. I walk him mostly without a leash now and have even taken him to the stable where I ride and work. This program has made him calmer and so much happier as it has succeeded in dealing with his anxieties and reactive behavior. Tony did a good job of keeping me on track and helping us meet our goals. I would highly recommend his services if you have been unsuccessful with traditional methods and you have a strong-willed dog with reactive or anxiety issues. Thank you,Tony.
began dog training classes, went very well.
So far, I am beyond impressed with Virginia’s dog training skills. If our dog not improve it will be entirely on us for not doing our homework. Even after the consultation we saw an improvement: it was as though she’d sat down with our dog and had a conversation about what we wanted from him and he said “ Oh, I wish I had known! You never told me before. “ Highly recommend Gray House Dog training!
We've had two sessions with Maxine (an initial 3 hour visit and an hour long follow up visit) and couldn't be happier. We took in a 3 year old lab/beagle mix named Hamish about two months ago and needed some help with basic obedience training and also some specific problems: nuisance barking, pulling on the leash, and some occasional guarding behavior. After just one session, we were able to communicate much more effectively with Hamish and his problem behaviors lessened. And the extra guidance we got at our follow up session today has already proven extremely useful. Hamish used to bark and bark at passersby and not heed any of our efforts to quiet him. Now he barks less frequently and when he does we're able to get his attention and he stops. His recall has also improved dramatically. Overall, he's also much calmer - it's obvious he feels more comfortable now that he understands our respective roles and what's expected of him. We feel fully supported by Maxine and highly recommend her services.
Jenny is amazing! She gets along great with our pup! We have her come over every day, and even after two+ weeks she still is great about sending text and photo updates to let us know how everything is going! She even has a dog walking journal that she updates every visit with details about their time together. I couldn't ask for a better experience! She seems as genuinely concerned about our pup as we do, and that's all we can ask for!
Hillary has been walking our puppy Chauncey during the week while we are away at work for the past 3-4 weeks. She is great to work with and very trustworthy. Our Chauncey loves her! There is never accidents in the house when we get home and Hillary leaves us notes or text messages letting us know what she did with Chauncey and if he went potty while she was there. She has been working out great and we hope to keep her business for a long time!
My husband and I don't have enough good things to say about K-9 Kollege. The trainers have been able to help us with our adopted pups and their knowledge has been indispensable. We only wish we knew about them before bringing home our first rescue. Luckily the trainers stepped right in to help correct some concerning behaviors after having our first for just a few months. What was prob most enjoyable was getting to watch each pup grow progressively more confident. We've adopted 2 nervous dogs, both in different ways, and now we have 2 of the most confident and we'll trained dogs. We get compliments wherever we go on how well behave they are. They sure make our lives more enjoyable!
Kristy and Brenda are wonderful to work with. They are timely in their responses, professional, and my dogs are always happy when we get home. They communicate with us when we are gone letting us know everything is ok and seeing what they can do to make it better for my sensitive dog. The best part is, they go that extra mile because they love them. I would recommend them to anyone.
Taylor's care for animals is exemplary. She is very nice and my animals (dogs and horses) love her and feel comfortable around her. I love that I don't have to worry about them while I'm away because I know Taylor provides the utmost, diligent care. I also find comfort in knowing that Taylor is a certified Veterinary Assistant so of there was an emergency or if one of my animals seemed off, she would notice and attend to it and know how to safety handle an emergency. She has many years of experience with animal care and I know I can entrust the care of my fur children to her when I have to be away. You won't be disappointed and your animals will not only love her, but also be thankful someone as kind hearted and knowledgeable as Taylor is caring for them. My one horse is special needs and requires meticulous instructions for feed, hay, medications and topical treatments. Taylor has background knowledge on her health conditions and diligently gives her treatments and meds that she needs. I never have to worry those small, extra care instructions are forgotten or neglected since Taylor takes her care role with utmost dedication and sincerity. It's not just a job to her, it's a true passion. If you're looking for the ultimate pet sitter or dog walker, Taylor is the person you're looking for!
