TLDR: Alex is detail oriented, courteous, and knows what he’s doing. He also has good ideas. Longer version: Reached out to handymoon for two separate jobs: 1. To close off a crawl space in my basement to prevent our cats from going in. 2. Board and batten in our entryway For both, Alex and Janet went above and beyond all expectations. Alex is meticulous in his care detail. He really takes pride in doing quality work, you could tell it was important not just to finish a job, but to finish it right in all dimensions. Quality, design, detail, etc. We’re really happy with the completed work and already plan to commission handymoon again for more work in the future. Board and batten looks great, and the basement crawlspace solution is awesome. He made a magnetic door mechanism so that our cats can’t get into the crawl space, but we still can if we ever needed to. Overall, I can confidently recommend Alex and Janet for basically any home project you’ve been putting off or need help with. They know what they’re doing and do it well!

I’ve decided that I no longer want to climb ladders and on my roof to install Christmas lights. Alex was eager and willing to come to my house talk through how I’ve hung the lights in the past and he delivered. He did a thorough, safe and professional job. He’ll also come back to remove the lights. The lights look exactly the way I want them to look and I would recommend Alex for his workmanship, professionalism and being easy to work with.
